On Friday - Oct 24th, 2008
9am-10am: Foil Weight Lifting
10am-1pm: Senior Design Meeting
Since we canceled swimming, at least I had some rest in the middle of the day.
2.30pm-4.00pm: MASA Eboard Meeting & Distribute invitation cards to people in Howe Center
And then, I slept because I didn’t have much sleep this week.
5.30pm: Woke up and get ready to go to NY Fencers Club.
7.15pm: Arrived at Fencers Club = joined the footwork class taught by Aziza Hassan and watched Afham fencing.
9.00pm: Left the Fencers Club to go back to Stevens.
10.00pm: Arrived in Stevens and went to dancing practice.
12.00am: Finished the dancing practice –> sleep!
On Saturday - Oct 25th, 2008
8.00am: Woke up and tried to study
11.00am: Cooked fried rice (hungry~~)
2.30pm: Went to eat lunch with Cindy and Bobo and Pierce since Bobo afraid that he might be kidnapped if he goes alone. (Hahaha)
3.30pm: Left Stevens to pick up the car between 8th and 9th, Jefferson Street.
4.00pm: Reservation of the car started but we couldn’t find the car.
4.20pm: Found the car at last! And we wasted 20 minutes =(
4.30pm: Picked up Afiq and Latifah at CPA and rushed to Journal Square.
5.00pm: Ate at Amin’s and then, shopped for groceries from the usual shops and picked up the chickens.
6.50pm: Arrived back to Stevens.
7.00pm: Managed to return the car on time. No late fee! =)
7.05pm: Walked with Bobo to ShopRite to buy stuff for JPA Raya Open House and MASA Raya Event.
8.15pm: Came out of ShopRite –> but no taxi!! Called the taxi service for a few times.
9.15pm: The taxi came at last –> And we wasted a whole hour!
9.30pm: Arrived in Stevens.
10pm: Redz and Syaz came to my room. Bobo was already too exhausted from all the traveling.
10.30pm: Started packing the candies for MASA Raya Event.
12.00am: Started making the table decorations.
1.00am: I slept at 1am, the guys continued making the table decorations until 3am. They locked the door and shut off the lights for me.
Sunday - Oct 26th, 2008
7.30am: Woke up and get ready for JPA Raya Open House + Meeting
8.40am: Left CPA for Howe Center
8.45am: Decorated Bissinger with the help of other JPA students, Stevens + Rutgers. Thanks korang =)
10.45am: JPA arrived and the meeting started.
12.00pm: Fooooooood!
1.40pm: Pictures session and thanked the JPA officers for coming.
2.00pm: Fencing Pictures session!!
2.30pm: Started fencing practice!! =) Had a lot of fun.
5.30pm: Finished fencing practice and rushed back home to get ready for MASA Raya Event. Had bath.
6.00pm: Finished bathing.
6.05pm: Was talking to Cindy when Cindy saw water coming out from the bottom of the bathroom door.
6.06pm: Grabbed everything we could off the floor including the carpet.
6.10pm: Grabbed the phone and called campus police and screamed “My room is FLOODING!!!!!”
6.15pm: The water overflowed into the room and went outside the room - water was everywhere!
6.17pm: One policeman arrived first while another 3 policemen come a few minutes later.
6.20pm: The water started overflowing into the room in front of my room and the room next to mine and the room in front of it.
6.25pm: Yaya came up screaming - “There’s rain in my room!!!!!!!!!!!” The water from our room went into Yaya’s room since her room was just beneath our room. We went to see Yaya’s room. There’s waterfall in her room!
6.30pm: They couldn’t do anything with the pipe, thus, they called the fire department for help.
6.36pm: The fire department arrived and they took out the pipes and stopped the water from overflowing. (Now I cannot use my bathtub anymore =( )
6.45pm: The police and the fire department went to inspect the rooms on the 3rd floor, 2nd floor and 1st floor and went to inspect the light circuits just to make sure there’s no water inside the circuit.
7.20pm: The cleaners arrived to dry the water. But he went to the other 3 rooms first on the 4th floor before arriving to my room.
7.55pm: They started to work on my room.
8.25pm: Alhamdulillah my room is water-free!
8.30pm: Get ready for Raya Event and rushed to Bissinger!
8.45pm: Arrived in Bissinger and ate dinner - was so hungry after all the excitement.
The party went on until 10.30pm. It was kinda boring at first since we were waiting for the guys from intramural to come back from their tournament. We ate and talked. When the guys came back, we started playing some games. It was fun! Everyone helped to clean up after the event. I left Bissinger at 11pm to see that the Bissinger is emptied and cleaned.
11.10pm: Tired but couldn’t sleep because the day was too overwhelming. Chatted with a friend. I have realized that I’ve made many of my friends hurt. I should have learnt my lesson a few weeks ago when my friend was heartbroken. But, no. I didn’t. Now, I’ve made another two of my dearest friends hurt. I promised myself that I will never do that again. Ever.
12.00am: Sleep at last~
Wow.. what a weekend.
