Last weekend, my whole family and I went to Thailand for a holiday. We drove all the way there from our house in Sunway. Seriously, the traffic jam was very bad. Imagine, we left at 9pm and we arrived in Perlis at 9am, with 2 hours break in the middle because everyone was so sleepy. ABOUT 10 HOURS OF DRIVING TO PERLIS. Isn’t that too much?

No, we didn’t go to Bangkok. We went to Hadyai! It’s about 45 minutes from the border. It wasn’t a very pretty city and the “pasar” was very booooring. Imagine, all shops sell clothes. How many clothes does a person need? >.<

Anyway, my mom and I went to the massage parlor. I didn’t know all this while that it’s very PAINFUL during massaging – especially when they use all kinds of body parts including their feet to massage you. Uh. Seriously, I won’t be interested to go again.

After spending 2 days and 1 night in Thailand, we left for Kedah where we visited a wedding reception. That night, Afiq, Sara and I spent our time playing Tower Defense in Frozen Throne custom maps. Haha. It was fun and that was the first time I ever set an ad-hoc connection! I never knew we could use that to establish Local Area Network and play games together! (haha, what a joke for an IT lady).

On Sunday, we went to Tanjung Dawai and went across to Pantai Merdeka. The beach was very dirty with a lot of trash EVERYWHERE. Please Malaysians, please take care of your beach. Please do not throw your food everywhere!

Anyway, we left kedah at 3pm to come back to our home sweet home. And guess what, we arrived at 1am (with only 1 hour stop -accumulative- in the middle). 9 hours of driving!!

Very heavy traffic jam. *Sigh*

But at least, managed to get a holiday away from home!
