Shooting Trip Around Stevens Inst of Tech with Latifah
Yesterday night, we were supposed to study and finish up EE586 Project. However, due to lack of concentration and also the exciting feeling made by the XTi, we ended up going around Stevens to shoot mainly the panoramic views of New York City.
So, firstly, let me show you some of the pictures we took at America’s Cup (Library’s Cafe).
This is the picture of me with my laptop:

Latifah was so hungry last night, so, she bought a croissant and also a set of sushi! =) She really has the warm-hearted look of a lecturer. Well, she wants to be a lecturer - you little kids will be very lucky if you get her to be your lecturer you know. She’s so helpful, patient and kind-hearted. I’m serious!! Make sure you get Latifah as your lecturer. Her full name is Latifah Sarah Supian. (Ehem ehem, anyone interested can ask me for her cell phone number. Haha)

This is a picture of the sushi before Latifah ate it!
These are some of the NYC views but some of them kinda blurry because we did not have a tripod. Rest assured, I have just bought a tripod from Amazon just now!! After this we’ll try to get more beautiful pictures. I promise!!

And this is a picture of the tree right next to CPA (our apartment). Latifah took this picture - and even though this picture covered more ground, the color is very beautiful! We tried to take more pictures here but only this one turned out the best.

And these are pictures of Latifah as I was trying to experiment with the Monochrome mode. I edited them using Photoshop since the pictures came out quite dark. I also added some text!! ^_^

I hope you enjoy the pictures. Haha.. I kinda become a picture freak now that my XTi produce the type of pictures that I want. I’m sooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy!! I’m glad I spent a lot of money for a DSLR - my XTi is the best!! =)
P/S: I bought my XTi from Amazon.com. In case if you’re interested to buy a DSLR for yourself, consider Amazon.com as your vendor - they are competitively priced, fast shipment, very reliable, good customer service and you can even return your DSLR should you suddenly feel that it’s not for you.
