What a busy busy world

admin March 29th, 2008

What a busy busy world,
What else would you expect from a student world,
Unless you would love to hide under the bed, curled,
because you failed your classes,
in your busy little world.

You wish you could fly,
But you have no wings, You can’t be wild,
All the works keep piling up, you want to cry.

Not procrastinating, not the perfect solution thing,
Yesterday, now and then, you spend your time reading,
But the thick text books keep coming,
With all the projects keep piling,
You feel like screaming,
24 hours a day, seven days a week studying,
still could not finish up all the things.

You want to understand the subjects,
But little time is given to dissect
the materials given to understand
You ended up rolling down, unable to stand
Because you only managed to learn
a bit here and a bit there, you earn
with all the time you spent
slithering on your books like a serpent

Only little stuff you know
Out of the giant books, that’s a no-no
How can you finish reading 6 huge texts
in as little as 3 months flat.

What a busy busy world,
What else would you expect from a student’s little world.
