A HUGE slap to Barisan Nasional
Congratulations to the citizens of Malaysia who are not afraid to speak up. I have been a loyal Barisan Nasional follower until now, but I strongly feels that BN needs to be slapped hard due to the increase in corruption and slow development of the country during these recent years.
Don’t get me wrong, I am still a BN follower and always will be. I don’t want the country to fall into the Alternative’s hands for now - but the country might still fall into BA if BN does not change their ways.
Ruling the country for over 50 years have made the BN people think that they will win pretty easily and hence, all the corruptions that occurred pretty heavily. I hope the lost of 5 states will give a huge slap to BN so that they will know that the citizens are watching them and the power granted to them should not be abused.
I believe in BN since they have shown their incredible abilities. So, let’s just hope they will address the problems arising to make a better future for all of us.
Everything happened for a reason, so, let’s hope that this is the best thing ever happened to Malaysia. Hopefully when BA has won some states, BN as the government will work better to reduce all the corruptions and make Malaysia a wonderful country =)

I am not sure what are the ‘incredible abilities’ that the ruling party has shown. Academically, local university failed to meet global standard. National University of Singapore is far ahead from ours, despite their lack of human resources(read:population). Economically, the prices of gas is always increase, never had decrease as far as I remember. As a note, how would you counter the argument by DSAI claiming that he was able to maintain the gas price at RM1.10 when he was in charge?
Bribery gotten worse, corruption, cronisme. Intervention of government in judicial concerns. SPR giving many excuses few days before election, decided not to use imported ink from India, thereby wasting our tax money.
I had no sympathy of Pak Lah. I am sure not only the opposition, even BN supporters are dissatisfied with Pak Lah’s performance as PM.
I love Malaysia. But it is due to my love for my country that I want to see the country prospers, free from above deficiencies.

I second ur opinion. I shed some tears man, seeing Pak Lah’s face after the winning and the determination that he’s trying to project. I love my Malaysia, and i hope all malaysian do. Take care..
