Yeay!

admin August 24th, 2007

Guys, the first and foremost that I would like to say is, thank you for being so understanding and keep coming back even though I have been absent from the blogging world for a while. Thank you so much!! You guys are the best!!!

At last, I’ve finished my final exam for EM600, a subject for Engineering Management Master’s Degree. I’m planning to pursue a master’s degree as well as my bachelor, but I’m not 100% sure I’m that strong to cope with everything.

Well, I shouldn’t have taken any classes during Summer since I don’t have that much enthusiasm to study. Huhu. My mind was set for Technogenesis (research project) but I was rejected and there was no other way to spend my summer apart from taking classes. I should have applied for summer internship somewhere instead of putting all my eggs in the Technogenesis basket.

And well, as usual, my grade for summer classes are pretty bad. Really. I got [censored] for Biology. But I didn’t get really sad because that is the first Biology classes I have taken in my life (I didn’t take any Biology during SPM since I was in Technical) and the professor is so, I don’t know what to say. I think everyone in the class did pretty badly. Even my friend who got full mark for all his homework and quizzes, 86% for exam 1, 100% for exam 2 and 92% for exam 3 got B-. What the heck? The professor was actually a just-graduated Stevens student (a graduated student who just got her PhD and excited to show off her capabilities to make other students’ life miserable). Can you imagine someone with a 90% average got B- ???? 90% should be an A. Okay, okay, I shouldn’t bash her lol. It’s very bad. We shouldn’t talk bad about our teacher. But, sigh. Almost everyone I know hates her for that. I wish I could like her in some ways.

Another thing that made me busy for a while is that I have to help one uncle ordering some stuff and making business. He’s an Egyptian and he owns a hospital in Egypt. However, since he doesn’t really know how to use a computer (he’s from our grandfathers generation), he asked me to help him. I really enjoy helping him since I learned a lot about medical equipments. Who knows I might want to open a hospital in Malaysia. ^_^

He owns a shop in Hoboken and I helped him out in his office at the shop. It’s a clothes shop selling “rejected” clothes at a very cheap price. I have bought several dresses myself and I love them! They are rejected because of little “invisible” mistakes. Basically, it almost like “The Reject Shop” in Malaysia.

He hired 3 people to help him around the shop besides his son. So, he has 4 workers in total. One of them is a black. Unbelievably, this black guy (sorry, but I don’t know his name) asked me to marry him. Lol. I know he was joking but when he said that, I just lost my words since it has been a very long time since somebody tackles (or in other word, “ngorat”) me. So, I have lost my capabilities to do a professional counter. Whatever that means. I just said “no” and of course, blush. I really hope he didn’t misunderstand my words for anything else. Hehe. He told everyone that I was very cute and this guy was practically staring, smiling and waving at me the whole day for that day. I just smiled back at him without saying anything. I don’t know whether he was serious or was just fooling around. I really really really hope that he is joking.

And I do have a good news apart from all of those. I got a PS3!! I did some offers at a freebie website and spent about $150 for a PS3. It is so worth it! I am currently trying to change CoolSavings4U into freebie websites guide but I’m not pretty sure if there are any offers for Malaysians. Maybe I should start one lol! I gave this PS3 as a birthday present to Afiq since I’m not a PS3 game freak. I’m working on a Wii right now! I’ll post about it once I receive it. I love Wii since I don’t have to memorize what the function of each button. Hehe.

Well, I don’t have many pictures but I really hope that you enjoy my writing! It’s a bit long, I know. Hehehe.. my classes are starting this Monday and I’m still trying to figure out what co-curricular activities I should keep and what should I stop. Hurm. Oh well, pray for me! Hehe..

You guys are the best!!!
