Today, Afiq and I went out to Chinatown to celebrate my birthday =) We chose to walk alongside the Hudson River to take some pictures, including the one above. That cheongsam is a present from Afiq! Isn’t he’s a cutie? Although, I have to admit that wearing the striking red dress walking around New York is such a “stand-out”. Wherever we walked, all the heads turned towards me. LOL. It was funny though but I enjoyed the attention I received since it has been a while since I’ve gotten a lot of attention. Yeah, by now you must have categorized me as attention-seeker. Haha.. That’s up to you =)


We had our lunch and dinner (since we were so full, we didn’t have to eat dinner) at Nyonya Malaysian Cuisine in Chinatown. We went there to satisfy my cravings for laksa. Nyum nyum. It was delicious! While I’m eating laksa, Afiq ordered mee curry. We also had pasembur. All those plus Lychee drink and soya bean milk only came to $25. Isn’t that cheap?

Then, we went to watch Ratatouille (I hope I spelled that one correctly, it is one of the most difficult word to be spelled). I was very happy even though I was very tired from all those walking. And the movie was nice too! I’ll write a review of it in the next post.


When I arrived back to Stevens, I’ve just realized that Yaya and the gang hold a surprise birthday party for me. Thanks guys! I really appreciate it =) There were a lot of balloons and a delicious cake. Nyum nyum again! And only today I’ve gotten back the two pounds I lose. Haha.. I have to start dieting again.
