Malays’ Dilemmas - What is a Malay’s Strength?

admin June 14th, 2007

Another topic that caught my attention during our discussion is the topic “What is a Malay’s strength?”. Do we exist on this planet just as a minority race with a language? What is the common mission of the Malays? If you are a Malay yourself, think about this. Why do we even exist in the first place?

When we observe our surroundings, we could see that the common mission of the Whites around the world is to be the most powerful, the number 1 people in the whole world. While the Chinese, they are striving to be the kings of economic. What is the common mission of the Malays? Could you think of any? I don’t.

So, instead of relying on other people to build the economics of our country, and instead of not believing in our products and still follow the “White Supremacy” that has been set in our minds since the colonization age, we should realize our potential and build our strength to be acknowledge everywhere. What do you think our strength is?

we are all the same. malays are not special.but they are just boosting of the past history-malacca n etc.if u think back again.theres not much to be proud of.nothing.whats the big deal if u bring mat rempit to the north pole.or u being the first malaysian women to be in everest.or asean women to be in the north and south pole.the prob is malays have to much pride on useless things.only want name.-no quality

I agree with jonah, sometimes we are always too proud of something that is not that worth it. Don’t get me wrong, it is ok to be proud but not THAT proud. Where is our name in science and technology field? Where is Malays when it comes to wealth and millionaires? Even if there is some, it’s just too few.

ngeh2.”with my nose size incresing”.yup, the malaysian government are spending to much money just to show off.if u are used to seeing the debates at the parlimen.’kelakar’.they talk on unnececesery topics.mabe coz there are some that are not educated.ecspecially the ones that are holding high positions. if u look in the bok of hadith 40.the prophet mentioned to abu dzar that.its not easy being a leader.and its better for u not to be leader n ull regret it on hereafter.most mpeople today are just being leaders in the society to get money, tenders n etc.the way of thinking should be changed.people like that should not be involved in politics.as politics involve citizens.u are deciding the citizens future.

well, yea. i think the ones with higher education level just don’t like to be politicians. there are some who want but not many. i dunno why. =(

thats because if u truly know what is responsibility.ull know how big is it.AMANAH..is one of the heaviest thing.some people say its good to try. but do u think ur capble of doing it.are u pious.usually if people are given power they will misuse the power.the question is..ARE u willing to answer during HEREAFTER??

    hurm,the Malay strength…
i do have comments, but im afraid the answer is still the same.it DEPENDS on how one sees him/herself.and that DEPEND on ur niat or motive.
Sadly, our culture has MONOPOLIZED us in everything that we do, that’s how the whatever Dilemma that we have had exists. Compared to Whites, they think they are Gods or num 1 because they have been raised with that. Their culture won’t tolerate anything except that. So, the question lies in what is our culture and how do we,not the culture, revolved around it!We’ve just become a TOOL, a CONVENIENT for the Culture, and shamely enough,it is never vice Versa.
