Instead of leaving at 9am, we woke up at 9am. Lol. So, we ended up leaving for Niagara Falls at 10.30am - which is quite late. To make things late, the bus came at 1pm. So, we spent 1 and a half hour waiting for the bus. However, it was ok since we spent time talking since it has been a long time since we gathered together like this =) .
At Niagara Falls, we decided to go to the Cave of the Winds instead of Maid of the Mist since we planned to come back the next day. We have to put ponchos on to avoid getting wet. It was awesome! See the 2 falls below, we went right underneath it - and of course, we were soaked from our head to toes. However, the experience was so incredible and priceless =) If I were to come again to Niagara Falls, I will definitely visit Cave of the Winds again.

After visiting Cave of the Winds, we walked around Niagara Falls and marvel at the beauty that Allah has created. Everything is so nice and beautiful. The numbers of people visiting were just nice. We took a lot of pictures!
After that, since the bus trip was tiring (almost 2 hours), we decided not to come back to Niagara Falls but walk around Buffalo instead for the next day. Therefore, we ended up not going onto the Maid of the Mist. It’s okay I guess since I was quite happy during the whole day that we spent at Niagara Falls. It was so fun!

At 3.30pm, Afiq, Afham, Latifah, Sue and Me left Stevens for Buffalo,NY. Instead of taking a taxi which is so damn expensive, we chose to go backpacking through path train, subways and airtrain. We only spent $8.50 per person for those rides instead of $30 per person if using taxi - which saved our money a lot. =)
Arriving at JFK at 5.45, we were just in time since our flight is will leave at 6.50pm. We went to the kiosk, printed the tickets and headed excitedly to Gate 25 where the Delta Airline is. We waited the whole time sitting on the floor since there were not enough chairs. Well, KLIA is 10 times better than JFK. Lol. I’ll post the pictures here once I get back in Stevens.
To our dissappointment, the flight was delayed until 7.15pm - which is the time when we board the plane. However, to make things worse, the plane had to queue up for flight, which is why we ended up leaving NYC at 8.15pm instead of arriving in Buffalo at 8.15pm. Luckily, it was not that far. The duration of the flight was only about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Only mineral water and some biscuits were provided during the flight - suits the price we paid for and the time spent in the sky.
The Buffalo airport looks almost like Newark - the interior. All 5 of us took a van taxi (luckily they have one or we might have ended up paying twice for 2 different car taxis). We arrive at University at Buffalo at about 10pm. Nik and Laily were there beaming. And the best of all, they are very good at cooking! This dinner was sooooo delicious! =)
After some chatting, we went to sleep. Today, we will leave for Niagara at about 10.30am. I’ll write about our adventure here!
